Piglets

Birth - 16 Months Old
  • We have created a room that is warm, friendly and homely with cosy corners, soft play areas, plenty of toys and treasure baskets to entice exploration.  There’s plenty to keep your baby happy and, with a quiet and cosy sleep room, there is always space and time for a well needed rest!  As well as a delightful indoor space, we also have a safe, secure and dedicated outdoor area for our babies to explore.

To ensure continuity of care for your baby we provide a high adult to child ratio of 1:3 and have the same full-time nursery practitioners in the Piglet’s room. This helps ensure strong relationships are built between babies, practitioners and you, the parent. It also gives the key person the opportunities to have plenty of one-on-one time throughout the day.

  • Piglets Daily Routine

The most important areas for our babies are that they feel happy, safe and secure.  This enables them to learn, grow and develop in an environment where they are happy to explore and develop new relationships.  Having a routine within the Piglets’ group helps the babies to feel safe and secure – as they will grow and learn the routine, knowing when snack time is coming for example.  However, we understand that all babies are individual and all have their own routines, therefore our daily routine is flexible and we will tailor our day around your baby and their needs.
